Total nonsense. Back in the early-to-mid 80s I was an art director in the very fashion-conscious advertising industry. Like so many of my peers, I went through an all-black phase. Fine sweaters, skirts, blouses, trousers, dresses, hats, everything was black, sleek, and totally pulled together. I looked great and it made getting dressed every morning a breeze.
