This is a big one. I still have to remind myself, after almost thirty years, that things which are so simple and clear-cut to me may be completely foreign to my husband. It's not his fault and it's foolish to be upset about it. But the question is, once you state your needs and expectations, does he step up? Or does he continue to sit while you struggle with grocery bags and children?
