Same here. So I can’t tell you how satisfying it was, after becoming an adult, to be able to give my mother $300 when she suddenly needed it. If it wasn’t for the sacrifices she’d made when I was growing up, I wouldn’t have been able to. Right? I’ve always been curious about first and second generation middle-class kids like you and whether your generation is at all aware of the sacrifices that were made for you?
