My handwriting has become utterly atrocious since typing everything for the last decade or more. But my elderly aunt (she lived to 102 years old) would write letters to me and I would type letters back to her. I didn’t want her to miss or get hung up on even one word of my scribbling. I printed my letters out and tucked them into cards, along with newspaper clippings and anything else I could find that might interest her.
