What a great read!. It was years before I finally realized how incredibly lucky I was to have a father who encouraged me to go into business for myself. He often said, "I want to see you hang your own shingle," and he supported me every step of the way. And then I lucked out again and married a man who has always supported my dreams. To be ingrained with enough self-confidence to override our fears is a real blessing. Everyone doesn't experience that. You and I, Jill, are the lucky ones.
