I grew up in a male-dominated household and my sweet mother worked full-time. She and I tackled the chores while my brothers sat around and did much of nothing. I hated it long before the women's liberation movement told me I should. But in spite of my constant grumbling, I had the hot coffee waiting for Mama every evening without fail when she got home from work. Two sugars and a splash of cream. Without fail.
