I am so sorry. I was never afraid of the a Big Chop and used to wear my hair cut very short. But that was by choice.
I know you’re sick of advice. Everyone’s got some, right? My best friend, a breast cancer survivor, when confronted with unsolicited stories about what someone’s sister or mother went through, would say that while their concern is appreciated, she intended to have her OWN cancer experience and not someone else’s. They stopped many in their tracks.
