Growing up in a family of cheaters, and knowing a few outside of my family, what I came to realize was, many men cheat simply because in their mind, that's what a real man does. He has a wife at home, all cozy and snug with the kids, and then his girlies on the side. It's all ego. And many women went along with it, both wives and girlies. The difference today is, the wife isn't so well taken care of like before. And neither is the girlie. Their end of the bargain isn't being met because the guy is a bum.
