Dammit Fani!

You’re old enough to know better

I held out hope that the rumor of Fani and Nathan was garbage and would soon be struck down with a forceful reminder of who, exactly, was bringing the charge.

I held out hope that Fani and Nathan had been smart enough NOT to jeopardize the most important case of their careers.

I held out hope that Fani and Nathan understood the horrific consequences if they somehow slipped up and gave the opposition bullets to use against them.

I held out hope that Fani and Nathan were wise enough to recognize that these crooked-ass lawyers are fighting for their lives and their desperation is nothing to trifle with or take lightly.

I held out hope that Fani, in the spotlight and under the gun, knew better than to get tied up with a man in the middle of his divorce.

I held out hope that Fani and Nathan were aware of the old adage — don’t shit where you eat.

I held out hope that Fani was stronger and more focused. Too much was at stake.

But when you didn’t respond, Fani, for days and then weeks, that’s when I knew.

Oh girl. I get it. I do. It may have been a while since you had some. But with the right connections, you can order up dick these days. Good dick. Was Nathan really the only one on tap?

And Nathan. You’re just wrong.

No laws were broken. There is no conflict of interest. And I believe that no matter who signs your paycheck, once it’s in your pocket you have the right to spend it on whomever you wish.

But the focus of this monumental case is now misplaced, and there are sharks, blood, and mud in the water.

Dammit, Fani!
